Rosie

Hello I’m Rosie, here’s a little bit about me. I started dancing with Gemini School of Dance when I was 4 years old, fast forward 24 years and I’m still here doing what I love the most. As a child I won numerous awards for different Cecchetti competitions. At 16 I went to a dance college in Bristol to study dance and musical theatre and whilst there I managed to get numerous qualifications, including advance 1 modern and intermediate tap and ballet. I had the opportunity to perform in numerous places such as Bristol hippodrome and all sorts of festivals. I also managed to complete my grade 7 musical theatre exam! After that I was lucky enough to travel to New Zealand and Australia and see the world! Since then I have been teaching at Gemini school of Dance for 10 years and have great experience with dance shows and entering students into competitions which have gone extremely well! I absolutely love to teach, I love to see the enjoyment on their faces when they dance and how they beam when they get onto the stage, super proud teacher! I am currently studying for my DDE cecchetti ballet exam!

Her biggest achievement was Top Hat the musical on Cunard Queen Elizabeth and has recently finished her last contract at sea as Aerialist on P&O Arcadia. Alice is very excited to be home teaching again after being away for a few years.
